You Must Be At Least 18 Years ofAge to Buy Knives.

This Knife is in Unused Mint Condition

I bought this knife new about 10 years ago. It hasn't been carried, used or sharpened and has been carefully stored in my knife collection ever since. It still has the factory edge.

This is a stunning vintage large bowie knife made in 1986 in Seki, Japan by Tak Fukuta for Parker Cutlery to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Statue of Liberty. Tak Fukuta was the first Japanese member of the American Knife Maker's Guild, and apprentice to Bob Loveless. He crafted fine quality knives that impressed his mentor. Over the years, his factory in Seki, Japan also produced knives for Parker, Valor, Gutmann, Explorer, Frost and Browning among others. It is 15 1/2 inches overall with a 10 1/4 inch classic Bowie style blade. On one side of the blade is a large etching of the Statue of Liberty with "Liberty Enlightening The World 1886 - 1986". At the base of the blade at the guard is "Parker Cut. Co." with the Parker eagle. On the other side is "Surgical Steel Made in Japan". The cross guard is nickel silver mounted tightly to the blade and handles. The handles are Pakkawood (layered hardwood), contoured, polished and secured by three large nickel silver pins. The original sheath is high quality, thick, hard leather, double stitched and welted.
