Charles William Lambton The Red Boy Print 1951.

‘The Red Boy’ or as it was originally known ‘Master Lambton’ is a famed work by Sir Thomas Lawrence and depicts a young Charles William Lambton, who was to be the future Earl of Durham. The original picture was painted in 1825 just six years before the premature death of young Master Lambton from tuberculosis.
