This matching pair of asian double gourd lidded vases/jars are done in a lovely cloissone enamel with a floral pattern and featuring a large bird on one side and a dainty dragonfly perusing the flowers on the other.  Beautiful colors of blue, green, burgundy, purple and black make these a treasure.

Each measures 10 1/2" tall with lid and has cold gilded trim that is completely intact. They measure 5 1/2" across at the widest point on the vase.

There is still a tag on the bottom where they were purchased years ago from an antique store for $1224.  These were displayed in a cabinet for many years.
