About this vehicle

This 2001 Toyota 4Runner is a modified vehicle with updates to the interior and drivetrain. The owner has had it for 1 year. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives.

Vehicle Details

Pros:

- Engine swapped with engine that had 126k miles on it. Currently the engine has about 140k miles and the body has 335k miles

- Bilstien shocks

- Heavy duty springs in rear

- All windows work even the sunroof and trunk door window

- A/c blows cold and heater blows hot

- The interior is in great condition with some minor initial tearing on driver seat

- Aftermarket radio with CD player and aux/usb input. Sound system works great and has hookup setup for subwoofer

- Rear differential full rebuilt

- 4wd works great

- No major issues, drives well, and has had fluid changes done regularly.

- Comes with 3 keys

- Front and rear brakes have plenty of padding.

- Tires have plenty of tread including spare

- 2” lift/leveling kit

Cons:

- Light oil leak

- Rear drums are sticky after rain but have plenty of pad and no braking issues

- Does not come with key fob

Purchased April 2023 and completed these improvements:

- New front CVs - 6/2023

- Refurbished front differential - 6/2023

- All improvements and maintenance done by Toyota technicians since my ownership.
