For sale, my 1957 AJS 16MS in beautiful condition. Has bills for over £2k spent on it during lockdown including lots of re-chroming and new parts. The wheels have been rebuilt with stainless spokes and new chrome rims with new Avon tyres. The bike starts easily, first kick from cold or warm. The gearbox is really smooth and easy to select with no false neutrals or any other problems. Everything works as it should, it rides nicely and is very comfortable with deeply padded new seat. It has an aftermarket centre stand that is much easier to use than the standard version.

At the moment it has the earlier tank badges on ( which I prefer) but the original badges come with it and screw straight onto the tank. (see last photo).  Also it has a dummy magneto chaincase on the right hand side of the engine, this is just for show (the earlier engines looked nicer) and easily unbolts from the front engine mount.
It comes with original instruction manual, 1960 advertising leaflet and Certificate of authenticity by the AJS owners club.

The bike is historic registered so free tax and MOT exempt. It's a reliable and useable classic and inspection is welcome.

Courier collection is no problem, a deposit is required within 24 hours of auction ending and full payment on collection (cash or bank transfer). Bidders with less than 5 feedback please contact me before bidding.  Any questions then message me.  Thanks, John.
