An excellent quality mechanical dip pen / pencil with a simple functional smooth design. This is a Great example in functional condition and made by highly respected Perry & Co of London. The propelling pencil is in perfect condition. The sliding dip pen is in perfect condition with a period nib attached, ready to use.

Marked on tip of pencil Perry & Co Patent. So this is a fore runner for everything that followed.

It is very hard to find these early combination pen pencil sets in such good condition. A great addition to any collection.

Condition Report: Great overall condition for its age and type, there are one or two light surface marks, I can see no evidence of alteration or repair. I have left the item uncleaned as I have found it. It has a J Cooke & Sons nib fitted. The pencil lead pusher is in great condition as are both of the slide mechanisms.

This is as good as it get folks, one for the serious collector.
