This remote will work with ANY TIVO that shipped with a peanut-shaped remote. We guarantee this remote will work with any TiVo that originally came with a peanut-shaped remote (i.e., it work with ALL TIVOS except Sony SVR2000, SVR30000, SAT-T60 & Toshiba SD-H400). If your TiVo DVR also has a built-in DVD recorder, then this remote WILL work, but lacks certain DVD buttons.
