For
your consideration, a wonderful original watercolor painting. It is signed and dated in the bottom right hand corner Linus 1914. From the research I have done it appears to be an Axel Linus (1885-1980 Swedish-USA painter) painting. Fully framed it measures 9 x 14 inches. From the paper backing it appears that it was framed in about the 1930's at a Marshall Wells store. ( That is an estimate by the fact that the phone number is only 3 digits). It is a lovely piece depicting a woman in a garden with a house with columns / pillars in the background and a fountain in the foreground. A lovely piece to hang on your wall or add to your collection of fine art.
