Design. The quarter’s reverse, Designed by Susan Gamble and sculpted by Jim Licaretz, the Denali National Park Quarter reverse depicts a Dall sheep with Mount McKinley rising in the background. Included inscriptions are DENALI, ALASKA, 2012 and E PLURIBUS UNUM.
Obverse show portrait of George Washington, the first President of the United States. The portrait was originally designed by John Flanagan and has been seen on quarters (with minor variations) since 1932. Obverse inscriptions include UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, QUARTER DOLLAR and Mint sign.
