is an authentic old (NOT a modern reprint) vintage 1930 fine sheet fed photogravure (also known as héliogravure) with fine detail and delicate tonality. Taken during the 1920's by the photographer listed above, this photogravure plate was originally issued as part of a rare hardcover photography portfolio engraved and printed in beautiful two sided photogravure by Albert Frisch of Berlin, Germany in 1930. Historic and captivating to the eye, this true vintage print will frame up beautifully for display!
This photogravure
is guaranteed to be authentic and comes with a hand signed CERTIFICATE
OF AUTHENTICITY (COA) with unique individual registered
serial number from the Finephoto Vintage Archive & Database. Under
magnification this plate shows a tight "honeycomb" grid, uniform
pressing of ink and a wide range of tone - all indicative of a high
quality sheet fed gravure print. The watermark word "Finephoto" does not appear on the actual print.
