This new model comes with 50~60 ft bluetooth wireless range when tested with Nexus 7 with Bose Sounddock 10. After sellling 3 generations of bluetooth receivers( total > 4000 units), customers are much happier with this up to 60 ft long bluetooth wireless range while compared with others at 18~25 ft.  

Plug and Play, Bluetooth Music Receiver allow you to transform your Bose Sounddock sound system into a Bluetooth capable receiving device. Support digital products using Bluetooth, such as iPad, iPhone, all Bluetooth cell phones/tablets and PCs from Samsung Galaxy/Note, Motorola, HTC, Nexus, or ASUS. 

A more sensitive chip & design is used to detect the bluetooth singal from your iphone/ipad/Samsung/Nexus/HTC. This improves the Wireless Range to 50~60ft  when compared with others at 18~25ft.   Each adapter is tested on Nexus 7 to work at 50 ft away from the Bose SoundDock 10 speaker with good sound quality before shipping.  For some cell phone, the wireless range may be ~30 to 36 ft because cell makers try to save battery power.

This Newly Updated Model has been tested and verified personally for the Bose Soundock 10 & Digital II owned by me. It also been tested on Bose Sounddock Portable, Digital I (which can charge iphone 3 or 4), and Bose Wave Music System (with 30 pin dock) owned by my friends. 

This bluetooth devices also work for most 30 pin dock with charge function. If your iPhone/ iPod Touch could be charged, that means your speaker dock have the charge function and then this is the right adapter for your speaker,like Bose, Sony, JBL, Beatbox, ipod Kicker Box, Pioneer, JVC...

Special note for Sounddock I: Sounddock I has two types: One can charge iphone -> this bluetooth will work. One cannot charge iphone/ipod touch (but can charge ipod or nano), this bluetooth won't work unless with an extra power adaptor. How to use :

 

  • Bluetooth music receiver connects directly to the 30 pin dock.
  • Enable the bluetooth function from the devices such as iPad, iPhone, bluetooth pc, cell phone.
  • After successful pairing (passcode 0000), we can play music by player without wires.
