Charging Instructions and Battery Care

In order to fully maximize your experience with the Smartcell Replenish XT battery, please follow the steps below:

1. Power off your device, remove the existing battery, and insert the Smartcell Replenish XT battery.
1. Be sure to align the battery contacts to the appropriate terminals.

2. Power on your device, connect your stock power adapter to your device, and charge the Smartcell Replenish XT battery for 8-12 hours.
1. After a full charge, use your device normally until you reach a 10-15% charge level.
3. Repeat this 8-12 hour charge cycle 5 times
1. The software in your device needs to recognize the capacity change with the battery and also to rewrite battery statistics.  This is especially important with the Smartcell Replenish XT series.  Repeating the cycle 5 times ensures that your device has been calibrated with the battery. 
2. Please be sure to follow this procedure.  You will enjoy optimal battery performance after 5 charge/discharge cycles.

Note:  Please avoid fully discharging the battery at all times, as this reduces your battery?s life span.  For best results, charge your battery when your device indicates a charge remaining of 10-15%.
