Up for auction is a wonderful painting I found at a sale at an estate sale. It's by noted Southwestern artist Charles Davison and is called "Homage to a Friend," perhaps a painting of a beloved pet. It's mixed media on panel and measures about 12 1/2 by 16 inches. In very nice condition. See photos. Wonderful gift for a dog lover or a fan of this noted artist. I was going to keep it but had some unexpected expenses. My opening bid is less than the price estimate quoted to me by a gallery familiar with his work. Great low opening bid.
