After servicing hundreds and hundreds of blackface Fenders and analyzing the best sounding amps, we have noticed that the plate resistors tend to drift high in these amps!  These 110K resistors take into account the normal high drift of the original 100K plate resistors.  

These sets are specifically selected to replace the plate resistors in your vintage Fender's preamp.  It is very common for these resistors to get noisy (crackly & hissy static sounds) as time goes by, and they often need replacement. 

Remember, ALL blackface amps are now about 45 years old!!  Treat your valuable old Fender right, and do your necessary repairs with NOS PARTS.

These resistors work great to help your silverface amp sound more like a classic Blackface with "softer" preamp voltages!
