Cat Wax Sealing Stamp Set - Paw

Hand-casted pewter, made in the USA. A boxed set of the carved cat seal pendant,  a paw is the seal, with sealing wax (from Scotland) and a velvet carry bag. The pendant measures 1 3/8" long and comes on a 22" black satin cord. Cast of lead free pewter and made in the USA. Set includes cat stamp, 1 stick sealing wax and a velveteen pouch (color may vary) to store the stamp when not in use.

The use of seals and impressions creates a bond from the ancient Egyptians to the present day. A seal serves as a stamp of authenticity and privacy. Seals were first used by kings to signify approval of new laws and proclamations. During the medieval times almost everyone had their own personal seal, and it was common practice to break someone's seal when they died.

WHEN WORKING WITH AN OPEN FLAME, USE APPROPRIATE CAUTION AND CARE. SEALING WAX IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR USE BY YOUNG CHILDREN.
