Sizing

The Extra Large Swim cap is ideal for those with dreads or braids past the middle of your back. Unstretched, the cap measures 36cms/14inches high. We also have the following sizes available in store:

LARGE SWIM CAP: Suitable for dreadlocks or braids which go no further than the middle of your back OR for extremely long and thick hair.

LONG HAIR SWIM CAP: Suitable for very long, thick or afro hair OR for dreads / braids which extend just past your shoulder. If you have dreadlocks which are longer than this but which can be placed in a fairly compact bun, not much bigger than your fist, then you may also wish to consider the Long Hair Cap.

JUNIOR LONG HAIR SWIM CAP: Our Junior cap suits kids between 6 - 16 years and beyond who have very long hair.

Care & Use

The caps are made from 100% silicone and just like any swim cap, if you completely submerge your head a little water may seep in under the edges. For the most part, your dreads will remain dry and any wetness that may occur will dry quickly.

Returns Information

The Dread Shop is happy to offer a replacement or refund for any unopened items that arrive damaged or defective.

Please initiate a return or refund by contacting us within 7 days of receiving your order and we will then provide you with further instructions.

We require the item to then be returned within 21 days from the date the order was made.
