This unit includes four great hardware upgrades;

1)      A BRAND NEW GLASS^* DIGITIZER – A little information about glass digitizers; Palm some years ago begin installing inexpensive plastic digitizers, prior to the m100/130/125 all Palm units had nice durable glass digitizers, after the m515 and m505 all Palm digitizers became inexpensive plastic except the Z22.  Along with this decision came a vast amount of digitizer problems, the first plastic digitizers were terrible and the currently ones are better but do not come close to the durability of our glass ones.  Some in the industry have reported up to a 20% failure rate within the first year.  Contrary to what you might think, the glass actually makes the whole unit stronger, more rigid and less likely to damage the expensive and fragile LCD, which is also glass but much thinner so it needs to be protected.  The glass digitizer is chemically strengthened which strengthens the glass up to a factor of 8; you will not find this in most other aftermarket glass digitizers.  This is a $59 upgrade – of course if you have a TX and you need the digitizer replaced we can do this.

2)      A built in microphone – You will not find any other seller providing this option, this is what Palm forgot to add on this model.  A voice recorder application is also included on the unit.  This is a $42 upgrade – of course if you have a TX and you need the microphone upgrade we can do this. 

3)      Non-OEM on/off button, another common failure with the OEM parts, Palm choose to use an inferior switch and this has caused many unit to fail, our new switches are manufactured by a leading switch manufacture and will not wear out.

4)      Preventative repairs for ROM chip failures ($49 value).  Palm forgot to apply a special adhesive under the ROM chip to help prevent cold solder joint from forming, we re solder the chips and apply a special adhesive to help prevent future failures.

 

Our professional PDA repair shop refurbishes the unit.  This means all functions have been tested and restored to the OEM specifications.  Even better, all units have had preventative repairs for ROM chip failures ($49 value).  This is a common failure for this model.

 

The screen is new and better than new it is glass – there may be a few very minor scratches, if any, on the back!  FULLY tested, everything works GREAT!!!   We also repair and diagnose most all Palm models so rest assured the unit has been fully tested and verified.

We repair ALL Palm problems.  We have repaired literally thousands of units.  We guarantee all repair work for a period of 90 days.  If you have questions we will answer them quickly and efficiently.

 

Warranty

All billed for service and parts are covered for a period of 90 days.  This covers workmanship, reoccurrence of original problem, and replaced part malfunction.  This does not cover physical breakage; damage caused by environmental exposure (i.e. rain, lightning, any spilled substance, etc.), or any user physical modifications. Cost of shipping is not covered and is the customer’s responsibilities, typically $5, please inquire for actual amount.
