An L293D, high voltage, high current, 4-channel driver for use with the Arduino Uno board.

This board slots right on top of the Arduino Uno board and allows you to control up to 4 Motors, 2 Stepper Motors and 2 RC Servos.

The shield, by default, takes its power from the Arduino Uno board either through its USB port or its DC Jack (Please note the UNO's USB port will provide a very limited supply). The UNO allows you to connect up to 12V through its DC jack which then supplies power to the UNO board and the Motor Shield itself. If you find that the UNO's power supply isn't enough then an Exterior Power terminal is Included which provides up to 25V to your Motors.

Features:

  • A double interface to control 2 servo motors
  • 4 H-bridges, each individual bridge provides up to 0.6A
  • Up to 4 DC motors with reverse control
  • Up to 2 stepper motors
  • reset button
  • An external power supply terminal (0V - 25V)
