ORIGINAL 1960s PAINTED SIGN OF THE NEIGHBORHOODS OF NEW SEABURY MASHPEE CAPE COD INCLUDING BRIGHT COVES - SUMMERSEA - FELLS POND
This is really a wonderful piece. One of two original signs I acquired from another Massachusetts dealer. He told me these signs were the original painted signs showing the neighborhoods at the very beginning of the New Seabury development in Mashpee on Cape Cod in the 1960s. I believe all these neighborhoods are still part of the development. Painted on a piece of masonite, the sign measures 18 x 36 inches. All hand painted you can still see some of the original pencil lines where the artist laid out the design. Some minor grime but nothing too bad at all. These signs must have been used inside or under cover as they dont show any signs of weather issues. Really in excellent condition.
