Everyone knows Funk as the pioneering breakcore producer, Venetian Snares, but Last Step's 1961 is a joyful collection of jumpy acid maneuvers, funky grooves, and kitsch beats. The opening track, "My Home Recordings," sets the tone with Funk's trademark attention to detail, ever-shifting arrangements, and strong acid bass line-- a recurring theme throughout the recording.
