Japara cotton fabric is a natural product which is made of quality cotton impregnated with a paraffin-based wax, and it is then finely woven into a very durable cloth with a thick texture plus a silky feel and look. It is also found to be less susceptible to liquids and other staining elements.
What is Japara cotton fabric for?
Sometimes known as waxed cotton, Japara cotton was first developed as a way to make sailcloth cloaks much stronger for use in the shipping industry back in mid-19th century. Over the years, its production process has been greatly fine-tuned and a number of different uses of the fabric has later been developed to make Japara cotton fabric into popular and durable waterproof jackets for the navy, motorcyclists and outdoor sports lovers.
Interestingly, it has also somehow found its way to become a much sought-after premier fabric for mattress covers, pillow shells and duvet casings (that is, quilt/doona casings). This is because the tightly woven construction of Japara cotton fabric can effectively prevent sharp feather tips, tiny goose down quills or fine wool fibres from poking through the quilt casing or pillow shell, thus minimising some potential allergic reaction for many allergy sufferers.

Additional postage fees may apply for re-delivery or re-direction requests. Free shipping orders will default to a $9.95 restocking fee to cover loses for sending out the item.

Warranty
Please message us on eBay before opening a return request case and we will handle returns through messages. We offer 30 days Satisfaction Guarantee from the date of your order being received. This 30-day satisfaction includes dissatisfied of product, change of mind, defects or arrived not working. You have the option for a replacement or refund. Due to Australian health and safety regulations we are unable to accept bedding products as ‘change of mind’.
Returns
You are entitled to a return items that are damaged or faulty upon delivery. Product warranty covers defects and faults. It does not cover faults or defects arising from incorrect use. It does not apply to accidental damage, misuse or neglect. If your return is accepted, we will then send you a replacement product. We request images of defects and faults to be sent prior to accepting return requests. Freight fees are nonrefundable.
Conditions of returns: The product must be returned in the original packaging and in original condition in order to qualify for exchange and must be in a sellable condition. For bedding products we require the product to be unused and unopened due to Australian Health and Safety Laws. We do not accept change of mind requests.
Bidding is a legal contract and you agreed to this when you registered with ebay. Do NOT bid unless you are willing to pay for the goods.
