Description

The LED100D MKII Three-Head Softbox Kit with a boom consists of 3x 100W 5600K Daylight-balanced S-Type mains-powered COB LED studio lights which use the latest High-Intensity Integrated LED technology.  It has a CRI (Colour-Rendering Index) rating of 95 for accurate colour reproduction, and a TLCI (Television Lighting Consistency Index) rating of 95 for impeccable colour consistency. This makes them suitable for professional broadcast use, as well as for cinematography and smaller video productions. It is also suitable for stills photography, including portraits and products etc. The integrated COB LED chip is also Flicker-Free, meaning you can shoot a virtually any framerate, or any shutter-angle without fear of introducing flicker.

The LED100D MKII is super-bright with a lux rating of approximately 10,800 Lux at 1m (equivalent in brightness to a 1000W Halogen light with the standard 7” Reflector (please note the modifier used will affect the brightness). The LED100D MKII uses the popular Bowens S-Type Bayonet mount, which enables it to be used with a wide range of lighting modifiers, including Softboxes, reflectors, snoots and Beauty Dishes etc.

This kit also comes bundled with three 60x90cm Easy-Open Umbrella softboxes, which will give you soft, even lighting. The 90cm Easy-Open Octagonal softboxes have an opening mechanism like that of an umbrella, which will enable you to set up your lighting in next to no time. The softboxes come with two layers of diffusion and come with a removable 4cm Honeycomb gird, which will give you greater control of the direction of light. Since the Umbrella softbox’s frame has a sturdy construction, it is well-suited for outdoor and on-location use. In addition to the softbox, this kit comes with a sturdy 240cm lighting stand, with a wide base footprint, and a thick central column for added stability.

The LED100D MKII features a dimmer dial which enables you to control the brightness of the unit between 100-10% brightness. It also has a built-in 2.4GHz wireless radio remote receiver, which gives you the option to control up to 99 units with up to 10 different channels with the optional remote control (sold separately). The LED100D MKII features an S-Type accessory mount which enables you to use your LED100D MKII in conjunction with a multitude of S-Type fitting light modifiers that are available on the market.
