With thousands of older Meyer plows still being used we decided a couple of years ago to offer a replacement wiring harness without the switch panel and switches. It has been well received. Over time many of the older harness have been damaged by being cut, burnt, or pinched but the panel and switches are just fine. Just cut your old harness behind the switch panel and hook this new one up using the provided butt connectors. This is a shop made item and a considerable amount of time is spent to ensure a nice product. Over the years we have sold hundreds of complete harnesses to satisfied snow plowers and still offer them in our store.

All of the components are new. 14 gauge wire is used to cut down on voltage loss. All of the crimps are double crimped using a special commercial style crimper. The pump connectors are packed with dielectric grease to prevent corrosion. Harness includes a new heavy-duty motor relay (solenoid). Because it is a HD solenoid it must be mounted on a metal surface to provide a good ground. The battery cables that run from the solenoid to the vehicle's battery and pump are not included because the length needed will vary depending upon placement of the solenoid and should be kept as short as possible to cut down on voltage loss.

An EXTRA fused circuit (purple wire) is also put in so you can add an accessory (strobes, beacons, etc.) without cutting into your truck's wiring. The fuse is not included for this extra circuit so that you can use the correctly sized fuse to protect your devices.
