This Elastogel Hot/Cold Wrist and Elbow Wrap is covered with a four-way stretch lycra-nylon fabric to ensure a close fit to the contours of the treatment area. This is a HOT or COLD therapy wrist splint designed for treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome, sprains, strains, post operative surgery, arthritis, and other conditions. Related stretching exercises may be conducted before, during, and after rehabilitation treatments for minor injuries. Two (2) elastic straps provide compression and hold the wrap in place. Elastogel Hot/Cold Wrist and Elbow Wrap may also be used on the elbow.
About Elasto-Gel Therapy Wraps:The Elasto-Gel therapy products are made with a durable and elastic gel that is wrapped in a four-way stretch material that is completely immobile, adjustable, hot-warm and cold. This product is specially designed to help restore flexibility and provides excellent therapy for minor injuries during and after rehabilitation exercises. Compared to traditional hot and cold gel packs, it will not burst or leak, making it a superior choice if you're worried about what activities it'll go through or how the gel pack can react to use and wear. Elasto-Gel Hot/Cold Therapy Wraps may be used for HOT / COLD therapy. Elasto-Gel products may be heated in a conventional or microwave oven, crock pot, or Hydrocollator, and cooled or stored in a refrigerator or freezer. The gel can be heated or autoclaved at temperatures up to 250 degrees Fahrenheit, or frozen at temperatures as low as -20 degrees. The wrap will remain cool for 20 to 40 minutes, and will provide heat for 20 to 30 minutes.
