Fender Contemporary System 1 Tremolo Arm

Part Number9700

ConditionBrand New

We custom made this replacement arm for your Fender System 1 tremolo from a 6mm rod of polished 303 stainless steel. It's unique butt end snaps into the ball bearing near the bottom of the arm module.

When installing, you may have to remove the friction collar and slide that onto the arm first, snap the arm into place then tighten the collar to your desired arm tension. The original collar has a small white plastic clutch ring in it. If yours is missing that, and your arm spins too freely and won't stay where you put it, we also sell some properly sized O-rings to use as a replacement clutch.

Fits only the Fender Contemporary System 1 tremolo found on Made in Japan (MIJ) Stratocasters, Telecasters and Squires that were made between 1985 and 1987.
