When undertaking an engine conversion, people want an easy to fit airbox

It is well known across the Patrol community that the Nissan GU Patrol ZD30 airbox seems to be made for this task. 

Many people scour wreckers across Australia for months to try and find this particular model of airbox.

Wreckers often charge upwards of $350 for a second hand airbox due to the demand on these rare items. 

Our Stainless Steel airbox is modelled around the popular ZD30 Airbox but includes these key features:

ü  Simple to mount; requires only one 6mm hole to be drilled in inner guard and utilises 2 existing holes behind the headlight

ü  Mounts on 3 rubber cushion mounts to prevent fatiguing of the inner guard

ü  Installed with a genuine Donaldson VacuatorTM Valve to drain any water that may find its way into your airbox

ü  Flows a massive 308CFM @ 8" H2O, 38% flow increase over standard ZD30 airbox and 45% increase over the TD42 airbox

ü  Retains the readily available Nissan style ZD30/TD42 filter element

ü  Supplied with a high quality filter element

ü  3.5" mandrel bent unrestricted outlet. ZD30 and TD42 airboxes both have significant airflow restrictions in their outlets.

ü  3.5” inlet 10mm lower than a ZD30 airbox

ü  Manufactured from 304 Stainless Steel

Most snorkels are easily connected by using a rubber joiner and hose-clamps to join to our airbox inlet.

  The Airbox does fit into GU Patrols as well as GQ patrols. This installation does require custom plumbing to connect the airbox to your intake. Factory pipes will not connect.
