Tracy Bentley spent many years working for Moorcroft and Cobridge.Tracy Bentley aquired the Burslem Pottery name and also aquired the molds to make the grotesque birds and animals,these molds were made from sculptures designed by Andrew Hull,and were inspired by the Martin Brothers.They were made by Cobridge Stoneware which was a sister company to Moorcroft.These molds have the quality that can only come from a company like Moorcroft.Grotesque birds were originally designed as tobacco jars by Martin brothers.

Burslem Pottery have all the Cobridge Stoneware molds and the rights to keep using them.
