Dear Buyers, up for auction is this antique German straight razor GEBRUDER WEYERSBERG SOLINGEN. Marked 6342 and with trumpet.
 Gebruder Weyersberg was founded on 1st January 1787 by the brothers Wilhelm, Peter and Johann-Ludwig Weyersberg.The company initially manufactured large quantities of knife and sword blades - indeed it's recorded that in 1786 the Weyersberg family had produced 17 % of Solingen's blades - and with the receipt of orders from France and Italy, a permanent blade store was establideshed in Frankfurt am Mein. With the sudden death in 1883 of Hermann Weyersberg the firm amalgamated with W.R. Kirschbaum & Cie form Weyersberg , Kirschbaum & Sie (WKC, registered 9th May 1930, the company is still in business.)
  Razor has black bakelite handle.It has some scratches and some minor rust spots on the blade. Generally the condition is very good antique, please look at the pictures for more details.
