This fantastic jewel of a clock is from before 1850. It measures 12" tall including the base. It is bronze with Dore finish. It is in perfect condition with the exception on a slight bend in the trumpet (see photo). I've had this in my collection for a long time. I bought it from a retired antique dealer who was in her 90s and going into an assisted living home. She had it for over 50 years she told me. The clock is marked "BESTEL CANU, A MELUN-".

The casting is very fine and the cherub face is fantastic. Note the little doll the cherub is standing over.

This clock was reproduced in early 1900s but this one it the original.

As with all clocks I sell they are "AS IS" even though they are running when they leave my possession you never know what happens in transit.

This year marks 54 years in the antique and art business in the Los Angeles area and at one time Las Vegas and San Rafael,CA.
