Ferrari 512 S #23 Daytona 1971 B.Adamovicz Elite Edition 1/18 Diecast Model Car by Hotwheels

The Ferrari 512 S was a sports car, related to the Ferrari P series of sports prototypes. The V12-powered cars raced at the beginning of the 1970s in the World Sportscar Championship. Just in time for the 24 Hours of Daytona in 1970, Ferrari presented to the homologation authorities 25 512 S models: 17 complete cars and 8 assembly kits with the traditional chassis numbers, ranging from 1002 to 1050.

The 1971 edition of 24 Hours of Daytona was the 2nd round of the 1971 season of the Sports Car World Championship. It was run on the Daytona International Speedway. Ronnie Bucknum and his co-driver Tony Adamowicz of the North American Racing Team finished second.

This particular Ferrari 512 S has chassis number 1006. It has been driven by several NART drivers at seven international races. This chassis is widely considered to be the most original 512 S in existence since it has never been restored.
