Brief History:
The round One Pound (£1) Coin was introduced in 1983, with the last round One Pound Coin produced by the Royal Mint in 2016. For the avid collector, I would recommend making sure you have a 1983 pound coin and the 'Last Round Pound' within your collection, preferably, Proof or Brilliant Uncirculated (BU).

Leftie/Lefty:
* Leftie/Lefty coins are coins where the milled edge of the coin is to the left hand side of the Queen's effigy when the coin is facing upwards, normally, this appears to the right. These coins are highly collectible as there are far fewer around.
