Some of these Proof & Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) £1 coins are becoming scarce as demand increases, so add to your collection now.

Privy Mark Coins:

The 2022 Privy Mark coin was the very last £1 Nations off the Crown coin to be produced.
This coin was produced for insertion into the special QEII Memorial BU 10 coin set, which now has a confirmed mintage/sales figure of only 11,499, making it the lowest minted UK Royal Mint £1 coin ever produced in this format.

The 2023 coins have been embellished with a unique Tudor Crown Privy Mark and ONLY feature on the definitive BU & Proof
(not circulated) coins - deeming highly collectible.

Coin Effigy (Head):

* 1983-2022 - QEII
* 2023 onward King Charles III

Brief History:

The round One Pound (£1) Coin was introduced in 1983, with the last round One Pound Coin produced by the Royal Mint in 2016.  For the avid collector, I would recommend making sure you have a 1983 pound coin and the 'Last Round Pound' within your collection, preferably, Proof or Brilliant Uncirculated (BU).
