10 different, old, mostly American women-related books of the 1840-50's era, each well preserved enough to be worthy of display individually, together or for gift-giving.

All issued mid-19th century, in their original bindings.

Collection includes numerous examples of nice period decorative gilt book binding art. Seven contain illustrations, often steel engravings, sometime wood engraved.

Overall books are in Good to at times VG and all in completely acceptable condition. Bindings lightly rubbed or age worn, joints with small scuff spots, some rubbing, signs of usage and handling.
