The screws are made of 18-8 stainless steel with BLACK Nickel Plating.

Black Nickel Plating will NOT RUST or turn brown color

like other black coatings such as BLACK OXIDE.

which will lose its black color over time from exposure to weather elements.

Black Nickel Plating will maintain its color and luster for a very long time.
