This listing is for a 3" vented brass heat vase cap for stained glass lampshades. This particular heat cap has more openings to release heat from the bulb than the other standard brass vase caps. These heat caps are 'spun' brass. They are lightweight, inexpensive and are a flat style cap. Each purchase is for one heat cap. Tip: All brass exposed to the humidity in air can discolor over time. I keep the vase caps in an airtight bag to help slow this effect down. When I make my lampshades using these heat caps, I flux and tin them with solder first before attaching them to the stained glass lampshades. Once you've completed your lampshade you'll be able to easily apply patina to the entire lampshade. Yes, I combine shipping!
