Vintage Brush Axe. Billhook Blade. 

Nice Primitive Piece.  

This could have been used at a farm, or by firemen.  

Looks like it could have been nasty if used as a weapon. 

Very Good condition. 

Total length is 47” The Blade is 16 inches total length, 4 ¾ inches Long.  

The handle appears to be old oak. Total 36” (3ft.) Long. 

The blade is held on the handle by metal bands. 

The inside of the blade is very sharp and the outside has some nicks in the blade and not as sharp.  

Looks to have been sharpened.  

Very unique piece.
