This extremely rare 21" x 18 1/2" Original Poster is in very good condition. Guaranteed original print from the event. It does have some moisture damage along the bottom edge, as you might see in
the picture. Despite my hazy photos it has nice bright graphics and is colorful. Would be a rare an valuable collector's piece when framed.
This 1980 USA Olympic Ice Hockey Team (as
of August 3, 1979) were sitting getting this picture taken, having no
idea that they were going to break world history at the Olympics that
year. Ultimately creating the renowned historical event "Miracle on
Ice". The "Miracle on Ice" is the name in American popular culture for a
medal-round men's ice-hockey game during 1980 at Lake Placid, New York
on Friday, February 22. The United States national team, made up of
amateur and collegiate players and led by coach Herb Brooks, defeated
the Soviet Union national team, which had won the gold medal in six of
the seven previous Olympic games. The 35th Anniversary was recently
celebrated by launching the Soviets' perspective on the event in the
movie "Of Miracles and Men".
