Beautiful settee in wonderful condition for its age. Appears to have had at least one leg repair but done very nicely. It is solid and sturdy. Wood frame has some nicks and scratches consistent with the age of the piece. Decorative roses and leaves, beaded edge and fluted legs. I was told this piece dates to late 1800s. I'm not an expert and just listing based on what I was told by person who sold it to me.
Upholstered in a gorgeous silk fabric. The fabric has some minor spots, it is thread bare in several places, mostly in the back of the piece and on padded arm rests. You could reupholstered but it looks beautiful just the way it is. Cushion is a thick, soft down
