The  AccuSpark™ electronic ignition module is a quality item and we have fitted dozens of units in our own workshop
These  give excellent all round performance with notable gains
The Hall effect trigger and module give better spark voltage improving starting, tickover , and MPG .

IGNITION COIL.

AccuSpark Red 12v Sports Coil Mainly used on cars up to 1974

AccuSpark Blue Sports Ballast Coil Mainly used on cars from 1974


Exceptions

All Fords from 1968 were fitted with a ballast coil

E-type Jaguars from 1969 were fitted with ballast coils

Land Rovers were fitted with 12v coils up to 1985 anything after 1985 would be ballast

All VW Aircooled engines used 12v coils

  3. Lucas 23D4 Top Cap -  Used on Early Minis, MG's & Lotus Eclat, with Webber Carbs
  4. Lucas 23D4 Side Cap, Rear Entry - Used on Early Triumph TR4 & 4cyl Land Rover (side cap has the low tension wire coming out behind the HT Leads)
  5. Lucas 23D4 Side Cap, Side Entry - Used on Early Minis, MG's with Webber Carbs
  6. Lucas 25D4 Top Cap - Mainly Used between 1964 to 1974
  7. Lucas 25D4 Side Cap, Rear Entry - Used on Triumph TR4 & 4cyl Land Rover with standard carbs (side cap has the low tension wire coming out behind the HT Leads)
  8. Lucas 25D4 Side Cap, Side Entry - Mainly Used between 1964 to 1974 (HT Leads are held in with a screw from the inside of the cap)
  9. Lucas 35D8 Top Cap - This is a FACTORY electronic replacement only, will not replace distributors with points ignition.
