DESCRIPTION:
Here is an Absolutely gorgeous French reproduction doll by known artist Mary Lambeth. Slightly displayed condition we purchased her from a large Mary Lambeth collection. Incised "A -10, Paris, on the back of her head and signed by this artist with the year 1991. She is a nice 21" tall size being fully articulated, jointed at the shoulders, elbows, hips and knees. She has a reproduction composition body with her arms from elbows down having straight wrist with all fingers intact. Strung fine she displays well standing with a doll stand or sitting. Her face has an attractive French appeal with big blue color glass paperweight eyes, heavily brush stroked brows, painted lashes, gorgeous coloring, and closed mouth. She has pierced ears and wears earrings to accent her outfit. Lovely bisque with no cracks or damage there is a styrofoam pate on her head that her long brunette mohair wig attaches to. Her Turn of the Century style drop waist dress is Stunning with lace and ribbon accents. She wears pantaloons and slip trimmed in lace, net stockings and shoes. Has a wonderful feather hat, purse and parasol umbrella. Beautiful detailing and trim throughout her clothing as this artist is known for. This is an exceptionally beautiful artist reproduction doll.
