Note: Narrow grooves are noted on the list, the wide grooves are not. Choose the correct key code and groove pattern for your locks, or the key will not work. If you currently don't have a key, it's hard to tell which groove pattern your lock uses. If you need help identifying your key, please send me a picture of both sides.
Places to look for your bike's key code:
- On your original key
- On early models it may be stamped on the face of your ignition switch or lock.
- Stamped on the barrel of your ignition switch or on the housing of one of your locks (removal of the switch or lock may be necessary to find the code)
- Hand written in your original owners manual (dealer usually did this)
- I can not decipher your key code from your VIN
