I was going to clean and restore these but was told that these are platinum or silver plated

and that I needed to be careful when cleaning them.  They have a beautiful patina anyway.

The mirrors are the original etched mirrors.  They are black on the back, which indicates such

as gold was used in that time period

The lighting will need to be rewired in these
