Vintage plate made to commemorate the coronation of Edward VIII who reigned for only 10½ months and then abdicated in order to marry an American divorcee Mrs Wallis Simpson and so was never crowned King

Stamped Coronet Ware Parrott & Co Burslem on rear.
Under the rim these is a very minor chip and a slight firing flaw in the glaze.
The glaze is crazed is is to be expected for its age.

Although not new this item is in good condition for its age.
