This listing is for the newly released, Hammer & Chisel Engraved, Vietnam War edition Buck 110. This knife is being offered by The Hawthorn Guild, check out the website for more information. This knife is a work of art, engraved by hand with the tools shown in the photos. While the engraving is beautiful in it's self, the knife it's self was very specifically chosen for this special edition. The Buck 110 is the quintessential American pocket knife. It's name is so synonymous with pocket knives that even other knives are sometimes called Buck Knives. Choosing this knife as a platform to both represent and honor those who served in the Vietnam War was not a difficult decision. The 110 was one of the iconic knives carried in Vietnam by American troops along with Randall Made, Kabar, Ruana and others. From it's time in the woods as a hunting, camping and just plain whittling knife, to the battle field where lives where at stake. This knife has been trusted in the hands of Americans since it's release in 1964 and more than 50 years later, is still Made in the U.S.A.
In designing the artwork for this knife we knew that we did not want to take away from it's classic design. We chose bamboo leaves and shafts to represent the jungle where this war was fought and the custom made silver inlay to represent the brave men who served. With this simple but meaningful design we were able to preserve the integrity of the knife with it's thick brass bolsters and dense Rosewood scales while elevating it to a collectible worthy of the most distinguished of collections.

This is the Deluxe Collectors Edition version of this knife, with a medallion inlaid into both sides of the knife. it is also offered in a Collectors Edition ($225) and Museum grade ($400) in limited editions.

Shipping- The knife will ship in 7 days or less from time of purchase and U.S. shipping is free (USPS Priority Mail).
