For your consideration is a outstanding, very rare Stag Head coin silver serving spoon by the renowned Philadelphia Silversmith George Sharpe, circa 1860’s. This Piece has a great 3-D decoration of a Stag, nice etched decorations, and the bowl portion retains it’s original gold wash. The Piece is not monogrammed, and the condition is very good, the only flaws being some tiny dings (about 5) on the bowl (see photo #10). They are small and pretty hard to see. The Piece is marked with George Sharp’s Hallmark of two Lions flanking a “S”. The Mark was not well struck, but it can be made out. Length: 10 1/4 inches. Weight: 106 grams. Pa Buyers must pay 6% state sales tax unless tax exempt. Thank you for looking and good luck!
