The motor is a direct drive, DC servo motor with stable hanging rotor. This places the centre of gravity upwards much nearer to the platter than would otherwise be possible making sure that there is very little Yaw present within the rotation of the vinyl.

In addition to this, the motor is also of a "core-less" design, meaning that the juddering effect as the motor passes from one pole to another is completely removed, greatly improving the achievable Wow and flutter specification. The circuitry that controls the motor has been fully serviced and new capacitors have been fitted, replacing any out of spec electrolytic capacitors with film capacitors which are more accurate and less prone to drift. This makes the accuracy of speed of the turntable much better compared even to when new.

A new stylus has also been fitted and the overhang checked. If you want to use a different cartridge or stylus they are easily swapped. IF you would rather use a cartridge you already have or a different one, please let me know and I can remove this one or fit your preferred stylus for you.

Finally the perspex lid is in very good condition with almost no scratches and no hazing. The pictures do not do the lid justice and I have polished the lid professionally to bring it back to a near new condition.
