About this project

A lot of people need the mobility of a laptop but also want the graphic performance of a gaming pc. The idea of the Lenovos ultra bay concept is great. Unfortunately Lenovo has stopped the development on ultrabay devices. The idea of this project is an adapter from ultra bay to PCIe x16 to connect standard PCIe cards to the laptop. This enables each user to choose the card which fulfills his own requirements in performance. A ATX PSU must be connected to the adapter because of the high power requirements of such an desktop graphics card. ATTENTION: Currently only AMD GPUs work with this adapter due to a BIOS whitelist. No NVIDIA Cards!
