With the Scarce Dust Jacket

New York : Random House, 1941. First edition. Stated first printing. Hardcover. With the very scarce dust jacket. Blue gray cloth. Pictorial dust jacket. Copious black and white photographs by Robert Capa. This is Capa's second book, with text by Diana Forbes-Robinson and illustrated with images by Capa, mainly taken in the summer of 1941 when the Blitz had nearly ended. Without the heightened action of the bombing, Capa focuses upon the spirit of Londoners in the new normality of a heavily-bombed city. Good plus in a good dust jacket.
