With a classic basket weave design on the front grill cloth, reminiscent of the front of a Marshall Bluesbreaker amp !
But more important than the looks is the tons of sounds you can get from this terrific amp. Yes, you can get plexi sounds. (And I feel the JTM45 emulation on this amp, called "Plexi 45", is amazing!) But you can also get great emulations of the AC30, Budda ZenMaster, tweed and blackface Fender, and even a Gibson Explorer amp model !
This amp is a total all in one tool for the working/gigging musician! But it also works great for home or studio use!
This amp is from an era when Line 6's modeling amps actually sounded close to and responded similar to tube amps.
It is truly for the pro or semi pro….a whole gig’s worth of sounds in one box! You have so many amp models to choose from….tons of nice clean sounds, many very usable and musical overdrives and distortions, and of course, some raging high gain sounds for the most brutal of metal solos or the smoothest of fusion solos!
You’ve also got nice emulated reverb on every channel, model and setting, giving this unit even added versatility, utitlity and musicality in your quest to create amazing sounds and music !
And very natural, tube like tone from these amps, much like the "red head" original Flextone heads and combos as well as the older classic Spider I combo ! (The one with the red faceplate!)
I know a lot is said about all tube amps, and I myself am a believer. However, if you close your eyes and actually just PLAY this amplifier, you won’t even notice much difference or even miss it! And 95% of the people watching you at the gig will sure as heck not notice any difference…..just play well !
The overdrives and distortions on this unit are very smooth, and very believable emulations! I plug my Shecter Synyster Gates or my LTD M100FM (both for sale here on ebay) into this baby. I then use the Marshall Plexi emulation and add a little reverb for rhythm sounds,....and I am in hard rock/metal heaven!
With 2 12" speakers specially voiced for Line 6 by Celestion ! This thing is loud ! And with it's large, over sized open back cabinet, it really pushes a lot of air !
Comes with casters for easy transport. And also comes with a printed manual so the lucky buyer can get the full grasp of all that this amp is capable of, as I haven't even begun to touch on all of the capabilities that this amazing unit has !!!!!
Also comes with two button footswitch to select between amp 1 and amp 2, as well as to have the capability of combining them both!
