This is your chance to help a teacher out!
These calculators were required for the specific curriculums I recently used to teach while an instructor in the physical sciences. Due to the unique manner in which the school was funded (public school) classroom calculators were supplied by the instructors themselves as opposed to being funded courtesy of the district. I personally purchased all of these calculators throughout the many years for various intended purposes.
While I enjoyed teaching I have decided to move on to better things within the industry. Since I no longer need graphing calculators the total sale from these will go towards moving costs that will soon begin to accrue.
I would much rather see them go towards good use for a student in need than subject them to a resale or pawn shop. Ebay is probably a good way to do that since most of you viewing this are most likely students (Ask me how I know). I will try to be as honest as possible in the item description with regard to each unit’s independent condition. Some of them are practically new, while other may have noticeable blemishes. I would say 95% of the time these calculators simply sat in a desk drawer.
Happy Bidding!
___________THIS AUCTION___________
UP FOR AUCTION: ONE TEXAS INSTRUMENTS TI-NSPIRE CALCULATOR (NON-CAS)
This was used to demonstrate calculation functions on an overhead display for students who utilized Ti-Nspire graphing calculators. This unit was never operated by students.
The Ti-84 Plus and Ti-84 Silver were both the primary graphing aids utilized in my class, though others like the Ti-83 and Ti-Nspire (non-CAS) as well as some CAS capable devices were also used for demonstrations. Non-CAS graphing calculators such as the Ti-84 are perfect for highschool and college level mathematics and physical science courses. Most curriculums in this genre typically require it, and is also permitted for SAT exams (NOTE: All calculators, be it Ti-83/84/89/NSpire or otherwise, are NOT permitted for the GRE exam. Please keep that in mind if you plan to attend graduate school). You can purchase CAS capable devices if you wish, but nearly all courses below university level calculus II will likely not permit them.
